We are not in the practice of recycling posts here at NFF, but this is for my MEGA-CRUSH Mr. Johnny Depp. My hands are tied. And in me and Johnny’s defense, I have added quite a few little extras to the Alice in Wonderland Very Merry UnBirthday Tea Party I threw for my daughter last summer.
So without further ado, here is my interpretation of a Very Merry Un-Birthday Tea Party!

were those mugs unfinished when you painted them? if not, what did you paint them with?
I really admire the stackable teacups. What kind of paint did you use? Is it just a matter of buying any type inexpensive cups and painting it?
Please let me know. This is a very neat idea!
Valeris,
Thank you so much for your comment. I just used regular craft paints on inexpensive cups from Walmart. I am sure you could get a more finished look than I did using ceramic unfinished cups and then have them glossed or by purchasing teacups from a thrift store and stacking them – but I did not have the time and so I just purchased some white mugs at Walmart I believe and painted them with the craft paints I had at a home. I added ribbon and sparkles too to give it a more finished look – but I did like how they kind of didn’t look perfect. I think part of the charm of Alice in Wonderland is that everything is supposed to be a little undone and not right!
Hope this helps!
