Spring’s Blooming Bookmark

Submitted by loralee on March 5, 2009 – 6:27 pm3 Comments

Spring is here and love is in bloom. There is no better time than now to read one of your favorite classic romances. Create this fun flower bookmark designed by our dear friend Autumn Bennet to beautify any read while keeping your place from being lost!
Here’s what you need:
Colored or designed paper of your choice
Decorative brad paper fastener
Ribbon
Micro Hole Punch with 2″ Reach

Fold paper in half and cut out half heart shapes being careful to keep them the same size.
Unfold completed hearts. Punch hole into bottom v of each heart petal.
Stack each heart petal onto your decorative brad paper fastener.

Once you have placed all your heart petals onto the brad, fasten the flower to your ribbon securely.
Bookmark the most romantic part of your book to read again…. and again.

Clarification: Remembering Wholeness is not on my most romantic read list.

Autumn, we LOVE this idea! We were waiting to post it when I had the time to make a shamrock green one to look like a 4 leaf clover because it would be so cute. But of course, finding time is like finding a baby sock pair after the wash and so we just posted it without the shamrock green! Thanks for the awesome idea and pics!!!
