Hats Off! Graduation Treats

Graduation caps never looked so good! These A+ chocolate desserts are easier than flunking Calculus. Just buy a package of Reeses peanut butter cups and Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Squares. Flip the Reeses over, place the Chocolate square on top, and pipe on a string of yellow frosting for the tassel. To make them extremely fuss-free, we used premade yellow fosting from the baking aisle. Serve them alone with a napkin or as a cupcake topper, either way you will definitely earn a diploma in fabulousness from all your friends. Congratulations – Hats off to you!

So cute! Great idea!
Wonderful idea for Graduation treats! Thanks for sharing it with us!.
I did the caps a few years ago for my oldest son’s preschool graduation and plan on doing it again for his brother’s. I used chocolate covered graham crackers, but I’ll try the Ghirardelli squares this year.
These caps have been done by many in many different ways. We like this way of doing them because they are cleaner looking and very easy to assemble – plus it is easy to customize the tassel to the colors of the graduate’s degree.
I’ve seen these before, but they look like crap compared to yours. Yours are the best. I will only follow this instruction. (I’m hosting a graduation party this weekend… wish us luck)!
I LOVE this idea. Now I just wish I knew someone graduating
Oh, these are going to be fun! Even in the correct colors!

How do you get the square to stick…a dot of melted chocolate? Also, did you use mini Reese’s or reg. size? Thanks so much!
Aimie,
Thanks for your comment! I used mini Reese’s. I put a small dot of the frosting used for the tassel to keep the two pieces of candy stuck together! I hope this helps!
I am sure they will turn out adorable! Send photos if you have time! nofussfabulous@gmail.com
Have a great day and thanks again for the comment!!

This is so cool! I am going to use these as my class birthday gift. My birthday is after school, but I still like to bring treats. Graduation is coming up and I thought this would be so cool! Hope it looks as delicious as yours!
These are so cute!!! I’m putting this idea in “My Favorites” to do for my daughter’s High School graduation next year. Thanks!!!
